Hey,

Volunteer Registration is now open!!!! Hooray!!!!

We have openings on my Security Team. We are looking for security, line and access control, and last but not least, Guest Security. All of these are under the heading of Security so when you fill out the volunteer form please put Security as your interest.

I currently have 14 people confirmed but am looking for a total of 50 volunteers.

For those of you under 18 who wants to be involved with the convention and want to fast track into security when you do become 18 we do have access and line control for those of you over 16, this is also great for those of you that don't want to deal with the rigor of the security.

Those of you who are interested please be aware that we will offer multiple training events, if you wish to do security, at least one training session is required. The dates and times of these trainings will be announced via email and will begin soon.

I have moved up to 18 volunteers since last posting. Please feel free to email me directly at security@con-nichiwa.com as we have training sessions only a month out. We want to fill these spots and get training going.

Out of curiousity if I do volunteer for the full 12 that's allowed can the free pass be applied to next years CON since i already have my full weekend passes

Woo-Hoo Con is just a bit over a week away, so excited can't wait to get started. Who wants to come to Con? Well probably you if you are reading this, who wants free food at con?
