Hi everyone!! I hope you are excited for this year's con!!! We are having a jfashion show again this year and sign ups start NOW! The jfashion show is limited to styles from Japan, but that doesn't really limit you at all, you can choose from lolita to gal to visual kei to punk or even just street style. If you want to know if your outfit is acceptable, just ask.

You can enter as an indidual with just one outfit, or as a designer who has his/her own models showing off designs. However, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind before signing up.

1. Your outfit can be hand made or store bought or a combination of the two (there's no craftsmanship judging).

2. Designers are allowed to wear their own outfits or have models wear the outfits.

3. We won't have a place for people to change so you can wear only one outfit in the show, please keep that in mind.

4. Please no cosplay. We want to focus on Japanese street fashion, if you want to show a costume please sign up for the masquerade.

4. Please be on time, if you show up late, you can't be in the show.


A maximum of 30 entries total will be allowed for the J-Fashion Show.

Narration: Please let us know what you want said by the MC when you/your models go on stage. The narration should be about the outfit, design, or style the model is wearing and name you want announced. Please limit the narration to 35 words or less. We don’t want the M.C. still talking when you’ve already left the stage. Ex: Here is Mikki Chan wearing sweet lolita! This jsk is from the Angelic Pretty Milky Chan series and is accented by pink Bodyline shoes and lots of pink accessories.

Looks to be a much better show than what I tried to run last year. It helps to have someone who actually KNOWS J-fashion, I guess. ;

Don't be hard on yourself, even though I've been doing this for years, it's still a hard event to pull off. A show is only as good as it's participants, so the more people we get in the show the better it will be, so help spread the word

No, it's not! You can still register and please spread the word about the show. I will let people enter at con as well.
