Hi Everyone,
I would like to introduce myself first. My name is Greg "Sheb" Fennell and I have been part of the Anime Convention scene here in Arizona since 2005. Over the years I have attended, volunteered, managed, and directed some of the local Arizona conventions. Most recently I was the Anime Director for Phoenix Comicon and I am currently the Convention Chair and Director for Saboten Con. I recently purchased Con-Nichiwa from Matt Solberg, so I will be your 2012 Convention Chair and Director for Con-Nichiwa.
I have a lot of great plans for Con-Nichiwa and my goal is to make it grow and become the fan favorite in Tucson for years to come. I can't do this alone though, and the staff that has been here for the past two years is well seasoned and is ready to help make this convention a success. We have already started planning for 2012 and are meeting as a staff starting this month. Our goal is to have guests ready to announce in September and to start announcing our main events in late September early October.
If you have any ideas on things we can do to help this convention grow, please don't hesitate to contact me or any of my staff. We are here to put on an amazing show for you and want your feedback to make that happen.

yaya exciting! I love the dance part of this Con. and despite the tragic dance night witch ended in two people in the hospital (due to there own illnesses) I would still love to keep it with live and J-pop

Wow...you guys have outdone yourselves with the guests Greg. Seriously, this is going to be better than both 2010 and 2011 combined. Last year's convention kinda left a bad impression for me because there were so few guests and not many interesting panels, but this is a complete 180. 4 VA's coming to town...wow...I may be getting a little greedy, but is it possible to bring one more guest? ^^ I cannot WAIT!

I think there should be badge/program cover contests.
Just saying..
There will be a badge art contest that will open in October and I may just open up submissions for program guide cover as well.

Hi you guys!
I'm excited for 2012. I plan on having a table in the artist's alley, so I'm going to start creating lots of art for next year Cx
I was wondering who I can go and talk to about the art on the handouts advertising the con. I wish to also make art for that.
